Your Audio Never Leaves Your Browser

VocalCheck processes all audio entirely on your device. Your microphone input is analyzed locally and is never uploaded, streamed, or transmitted to any server. We have no ability to access, store, or share your voice recordings.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Audio recordings or vocal data
• Name, email address, or any account information (no login required)
• Precise location data

Saving Your Results

VocalCheck may save your test results locally in your browser to allow you to reference them later. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Sharing Your Results

Your vocal range result is embedded in the page link when you choose to share it. This lets you share or bookmark your result without any data being stored on our servers. The link contains only your musical note range — nothing personal.

Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymous usage patterns (e.g. which pages are visited). Analytics is loaded with Consent Mode v2 — cookie-based tracking is denied by default and no personally identifiable information is collected or stored. Google may receive cookieless, aggregated signals even without consent.

VocalCheck is supported by advertising. Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure the ads shown on this site, including ads based on your prior visits to VocalCheck or to other websites. These advertising cookies are set by Google, not by us, and no advertising partner ever receives your microphone input or your audio.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent message provided by Google asks for your choice before any advertising cookies are used. You can change that choice at any time from the "Privacy settings" link at the bottom of any page. Until you consent, advertising storage is denied through Consent Mode v2 and any ads you see are non-personalized.

Outside those regions, advertising storage is denied by default through Consent Mode v2, so ads are non-personalized unless you have opted in to personalization in your Google account.

You can review or turn off personalized advertising at any time in Google Ads Settings, and you can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-Party Links

VocalCheck may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

VocalCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
